Newcomer Clinics

Providing oral health care for those new to Canada

In partnership with

Many newcomers arrive in Canada with existing or unmet oral health needs due to cultural barriers, language, transportation, and financial challenges. In addition, oral health literacy may be low and oral health may be low on the list of priorities. Newcomers may not acknowledge an oral health issue until it is in an advance stage.

Our Newcomer Clinics help overcome these barriers so that everyone can receive the quality care they need for a price and at a place that works for them.

Getting quality, affordable dental care

  • Our clinic coordinator will work with your group or organization to confirm location suitability for mobile preventive services. Clinic offerings will be adapted to consider Interim Federal Health coverage.

To better serve your population any additional considerations will be discussed, such as the need for a translator, translated forms, client transportation needs, and any other cultural considerations.

    Connect with a clinic coordinator

  • Our clinic coordinator will help you determine the best clinic date(s) and where the portable clinic can be conducted safely.

Sign-up for clinic participation will be designed to meet the organizational needs; either through an organizational facilitator or an online sign up portal.

  • We will set up our mobile clinic at the desired location to provide your group with oral health services. If there are dental needs outside our scope of services, we will refer clients to the appropriate providers and help facilitate their appointments.

Quality dental care comes to you at a reduced fee

There are many challenges newcomers face when they come to Canada. We make sure accessing affordable oral healthcare isn't one of them.
